Short Profile

Mr Annuar Mohd Saffar is the current Vice-President (Industrial Development & Research), Kulim Technology Park Corporation, Kulim High-Tech Park, Malaysia and SPICE member since 2006. He is also the current Honorary President(s) for Asian Association of Business Incubation (AABI, Shanghai) and National Incubator Network Association (NINA) Malaysia.

Mr Annuar has been involved in the incubation, innovation centres and technology park movement for the past 18 years and has held several senior positions in both government and private sectors. Because of his experience, Mr Annuar has been engaged by The World Bank (infoDev group) as a speaker and consultant on various aspects of business and technology incubation.

Prior to joining Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Mr Annuar was the Vice -President and Director (Technology and Industry) at Technology Park Malaysia, Ministry of Science, Technology and The Environment (MOSTE) (1993-1999), and Plant Engineer for the National Petroleum Company of Malaysia (Petronas) (1987-1993).

Mr Annuar has three (3) degrees from University of Missouri, Columbia, USA; B. Sc. Industrial Engineering (Honors Scholar & Magna Cum Laude), M Sc. in Industrial Engineering (MSIE), and Master in Business Administration (MBA, Finance). He was a Fellow at Massachusetss Institute of Technology (MIT), and a current DBA candidate at University of South Asutralia.
