Short Profile

Krzysztof Zasiadly has 37 years experience in regional development, NGO operations and activities, business incubation development as well as transfer of technology and innovation in Poland, Europe and Asia.
He has been managing different teams since 1976 when he became Director of Polish Economic Association, Poznan Province Branch. He founded and managed the Wielkopolska Business and Innovation Centre, Inc.(1990-1994), the first Polish Business Incubator. In 1990-1991 he was the Project Manager of the United Nations Development Programme “Feasibility Programme for Establishment of Technology Incubation Centre and Master Plan for Technology Park in Poland”
He was a founder and in 1993-1999 President of Polish Business and Innovation Centers Association. He was a founder of Innovation Centres in Eastern and Central Europe Work Group in 1991 as well as International Group of Science Park and Innovation Centre Experts in 1998. He is Vice President of both groups.
He is certified Project Manager, member of International Project Management Association.
In 1990 – 2014 Krzysztof Zasiadly has managed and technically assisted 69 Business Incubators and Technology Parks programmes in Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Iran and Turkey.
As a part of a national and international network of associates , Krzysztof Zasiadly consults and conducts training locally, nationally and internationally in starting and managing business, entrepreneurship promotion, establishment and
operations of business incubators, business and innovation centres, science and technology parks, technology transfer centres.
In 1995-2014 he conducted training for American, Russian, Uzbek, Kazakh, Croatian, Belarusian, Tajik , Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Mongolian, Kyrgyz, Georgian, Iranian and Turkish managers and developers of business incubators in Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Croatia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Iran and Turkey.
From March 2004 till August 2007 Zasiadly was member of Monitoring Committee of Integrated Operational Programme of Regional Development at Polish Government.
Since September 2003 Zasiadly has been resource person to the World Bank InfoDev Incubator Initiative, Washington.
Since 1990 Krzysztof Zasiadly has organized and conducted 31 international conferences on regional development, business incubation, technology transfer, agribusiness.
Krzysztof Zasiadly has been author, co-author and editor of 47 books on business incubation, technology transfer and local development.
